We take the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults very seriously. We fully endorse the Church of England’s safeguarding policy statement ‘Promoting a safer Church’ which asserts:

“The care and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of the whole Church. Everyone who participates in the life of the Church has a role to play in promoting a Safer Church for all.”

Reporting a concern or historic abuse

If you have any concerns about the welfare of a young person or vulnerable adult or have been the victim of abuse yourself you can speak to any of the clergy team or speak to our Safeguarding Coordinator Claire Gregson or email her on [email protected]

Alternatively, phone the parish office and ask that a Safeguarding coordinator call you back.

You can also speak to someone outside of All Saints, especially if you have any concerns about a member of the clergy or leadership team by contacting the Diocesan Safeguarding team

Policies

Each year our PCC reviews and adopts up to date Safeguarding policies and procedures and through the year works on our Safeguarding action plan. Please see our Safeguarding Policy below.
