Music is an integral part of the life of our church in worship, concerts and community events.
In worship we have a strong and vibrant choral tradition spanning the ages, drawing from the best of contemporary and contemplative repetoire alongside the deep riches of the Anglican choral tradition. There is no audition to join the choirs and some people sing weekly others join in for festive occasions.
Our concerts include a monthly free lunch time recital supported by the Loughborough Schools Foundation and throughout the year we host a range of concerts from string quartets, rousing choirs and our annual month long summer of free organ recitals.
We work in partnership with others in our community to deliver life giving experiences of music. Over the last few years we have run a choir for vulnerable members of our community in partnership with Falcon Support Services and drew together over 100 women to record a song for International Women's Day and during the lock down of 2020 pulled together a virtual choir from across the town to record We'll meet again.
Our music is overseen by our Director of Mission through Music, Emma Trounson.
