Kate is a violinist and teacher who lives in Loughborough and has been involved in music and worship in classical and contemporary styles in many different churches. She studied music at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and has taught and played professionally in quartets and orchestras for 30 years.

She is Head of Strings and Orchestras at the Loughborough Schools Foundation where she teaches musicianship through play to the very youngest children and follows them through to the end of secondary school as orchestral musicians. Music is a family feature and she is married to Will who plays the guitar. They have two children, Ross who plays cello, double bass and bass guitar and Ailsa a violinist at RNCM.

Kate leads the Contemporary Collective at All Saints and works to facilitate a greater breadth of intercultural worship in our church life, working closely with Simon Headley our Director of Music. You can read more about music at All Saints here.
