Ash Wednesday Compline

Compline (Night Prayer) is a simple service to mark the ending of the day.

On this Ash Wednesday we gather to mark the beginning of Lent so the service will include a longer penitential rite and the option to receive the mark of the cross in ash if you wish.

The words at the heart of Ash Wednesday are:

'Remember that you are but dust and to dust you shall return, turn away from sin and be faithful to Christ.'
