This month we shall be discussing Black Gay British Christian Queer: The Church and the Famine of Grace by Jarel Robinson-Brown.

Meeting in the Fearon Hall cafe at 8.30am where drinks and a range of breakfast options are on offer, Breakfast Book Club meets every 4 - 6 weeks looking at a different book each time and is a relaxed and informal conversation open to anyone to come along.

'If the church is ever tempted to think it knows the meaning of grace, it need only look at its reception of queer black bodies and it will see a very different story. Delivering a heartfelt and often painful message that black, queer, Christian lives matter, this book seeks to remind the Church of those who find themselves outside its fellowship yet who directly suffer from the perpetual ecclesial terrorism of the Christian comunity through its speech and silence.'
