Snowdrop Saturday

A close up of snowdrops in the grounds outside the church with te church building in the background

Bring a trowel and join the community of St Lucy's in planting 1000 snowdrops on the Parish Green.

The Parish Green is a an ancient closed churchyard, burials have not taken place here since the late 19th century. Now in modern times it is a place where the whole community can come and enjoy this beautiful green space nestled between Fearon Hall and All Saints.

In this Platinum Jubilee year what a lovely legacy to leave future generations by planting bulbs that will continue to flower for many years just like the crocusses planted at the front of the church.

All ages welcome to come and join in.

St Lucy's in a new community connecting care for the environment with Christian spirtuality and work in partnership with all those who wish to care for and improve our local green spaces. The inaugral St Lucy's Eucharist is on Saturday 26th February at 7pm.
