We are delighted to have our popular summer series of organ recitals back again where each week a talented musician will offer a varied programme of organ music.
This week we welcome Angela Sones (Lichfield) to play:
Sinfonia (Cantata No. 29) - J. S. Bach arr Andrew Fletcher
Choral Song & Fugue - S.S. Wesley
Cloches - Fournier
Campane a Sete - Andrew Fletcher
Praeludium 'Integritas' - Andrew Fletcher
Toccata - Dubois
Angela began learning the organ at the age of thirteen with Barry Draycott and went on to study with Andrew Fletcher and David Saint at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating Bachelor of Music in 1997. She has performed in masterclasses in Paris with Jean Guillou, Daniel Roth, Sophie-Veronique Cauchefer-Choplin, Aude Hertematte, Frederic Blanc and Baptiste-Florian Marle-Ouverard.
She is delighted to be invited to play her first recital here at All Saints' Loughborough today. Previous recital venues have included St Philip's and St Chad's Cathedrals, Birmingham, Derby Cathedral, Howden Minster, Leeds Minster, Tewkesbury Abbey, Bradford Cathedral, Newcastle Cathedral, Hereford Cathedral and Worksop Priory.
Refreshments are served after the recital and then there is a short service of Compline (Night Prayer) for those who wish to stay at 7pm. FREE to attend but donations are very welcome and help us continue to invest in music making.

20th August - Simon Headley (Loughborough, All Saints)
27th August - Ron Berry (Thurnby, St Luke)
