Summer Organ Recital Followed by Compline

We are delighted to have our popular summer series of organ recitals back again where each week a talented musician will offer a varied programme of organ music.

This week Alexander Binns from Derby Cathedral will be playing the organ.

Prelude and Fugue in B minor (BWV 544) – Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)

Cantabile – César Franck (1822-1890)

Chant Pastorale – Théodore Dubois (1837-1924)

March on Dignity and Impudence – Percy Whitlock, arr. Malcolm Riley (1903-1946)

After the recital there is a short service of Compline (Night Prayer) for those who wish to stay. FREE to attend but donations are very welcome and help us continue to invest in music making.
