Thursday Lent Group

Two Lent Courses are being offered this year. If you would like to join one there are sign up sheets at the back of church or email [email protected] . This group meets every Thurssday in church at 7.30pm starting 13th March.

'The Passion in contemporary art' - led by Roger Willson
Through the centuries many artists have portrayed Biblical events as happening in their own times, and contemporary artists are no exception. 5 sessions: the first looking at some examples from Stanley Spencer and David Jones to Marc Chagall. The remaining 4 will be based on paintings of the Stations of the Cross by Mark Cazalet where he sets the events of Holy Week in contemporary West London. All will be accompanied by comments, scripture readings, poetry and music as well as a period of silence.
