Midweek Holy Communion

The altar table in the church set with the communion vessels with a large stained glass window in the background

A service of Holy Communion taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

Using the traditional words of the prayer book this is a quiet service in the middle of the week led by one of the clergy. There is a usually a short homily given either by the priest presiding or by one of our Lay Readers.
